Homework Sheets

Here is a reminder of our current class project. I am looking forward to seeing what you discover and how you choose to share it! :)

Note that our slideshow (bottom of post) now includes pictures of our local church…

Do some research on your local area – this might include using books, photographs or drawings…it’s up to you!

  • Present this in a folder or book.
  • It MUST be in your own words…not copied out word for word or just printed off the Internet.
  • Use your imagination – you could conduct interviews or create maps, posters and models
  • Try to select a theme for your work like looking at leisure or mining or something else. You could use more than one theme… Use your imagination!

TO BE COMPLETED BY 4th April 2008

Welcome back!

What a fantastic production of “Macbeth” this morning – I thought our class representative did us proud! The Bristol Old Vic Theatre School actors were amazing and watching your faces as they performed was a real treat. You can find out a little more about what they do HERE.

Do you remember the actor saying that when they forgot their lines, others stepped in and helped instead of leaving them ‘hanging there?’ If you spot someone getting ’stuck’ during a lesson, try and think of ways you can support their learning…the “Stuck Poster” below might help you – can you decide what each person is doing as a result of being stuck? This might make a nice discussion point for our Circle Time on Thursday.

I hope you are considering some fantastic ideas for contributions to our blog. Get your imaginations going! To finish our second post, let’s have a link to the current homework sheet…hope it’s useful.
